In-Stock Guitars: The Fastest Way to Get an Ancoats

In-Stock Guitars: The Fastest Way to Get an Ancoats

|DaveBy Dave

I’m really pleased to introduce the first official in-stock release from Ancoats Guitars.

Batch 1: Granada Specials — five guitars, built, finished and ready to go.

If you’ve been considering an Ancoats but didn’t fancy the current six-month lead time on custom builds, this is your opportunity. These are available now. No waiting list. No build slot required.

Why Stock Models?

Custom guitars are the heart of what I do, but they take time. Every detail is discussed, parts are ordered individually, and each build is created from scratch around the customer.

The stock models are different in one key way: I choose the specifications.

To make this possible, the bodies are produced by the same specialist workshop that makes my necks. Their CNC work is exceptional, and outsourcing that stage saves a huge amount of time without sacrificing accuracy or quality.

Once the necks and bodies arrive, everything else happens here in the Ancoats workshop:

  • Hand finishing and painting

  • Hardware and electronics installed and wired here

  • Full professional setup

  • Final inspection and play-test

The materials, construction standards and attention to detail are exactly the same as my custom builds.

Better Value Than Custom

A Granada built to the same specification as these Specials would typically cost in the region of £1,500–£1,650 as a custom order.

Because I select the specs and order components in larger quantities, I can reduce costs and pass those savings on. That means there’s already a significant saving built into the stock price.

Add the current 10% off code by joining the mailing list, and they represent some of the best value Ancoats guitars I’ve offered.

Try It at Home – 14 Day Return

Buying a guitar online is a big decision. You need to feel it, play it through your own amp, and spend real time with it.

That’s why all in-stock guitars come with a 14-day return period. You can try it properly at home and make sure it’s right for you.

I do ask that this option is used thoughtfully. Card processing fees and shipping costs still apply even if a guitar is returned, and as a small independent builder working to keep prices as accessible as possible, my margins are tighter than the big stores. Returns do have a real impact.

But if you’re genuinely considering an Ancoats and just want the reassurance of trying it in your own space, I’m very happy to offer that flexibility.

The Fastest Way Into an Ancoats

  • No six-month wait

  • Lower price than custom

  • Same materials and build quality

  • Finished, assembled and set up by hand in Manchester

  • Ready to play straight out of the case

There are only five guitars in Batch 1.

When they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to get an Ancoats, this might be it.
